The Summer Night Market is set to return to Queen Vic Market every Wednesday night from 20 November 2024. The iconic open-air sheds are dazzling with the sights, sounds and scents of summer, featuring 45 street food stalls, 6 festival bars and more than 50 market stalls.

Throughout December its all about getting into the holiday spirit with lush Christmas trees and a roving Santa. PLUS, a festive line-up filled with carollers and a DJ spinning Christmas classics!

The Queen Victoria Night Market is back and ready to make this summer the most epic one yet!

Enjoy this much-loved Melbourne market full of street food, refreshing cocktails, great shopping and live music every Wednesday night from 20 November 2024 to 12 March 2025.

Every year it gets more and more popular so if you’re going with kids my big tip is to get there early at 5 pm (or even 4:45 pm!) to take advantage of easier parking, shorter lines and more seating.

  

The markets span over several sheds with over sixty street food vendors, over 100 art, craft and design stalls plus a weekly calendar of live entertainment.

During this time, night Market-goers will be able to once again satisfy their cravings by indulging in the food and drinks prepared by food trucks and stalls like The Cypriot Kitchen, Wonderbao, Mr Miyagi, Frencheese, Cannoleria, Brick Lane Brewing Co, The Happy Mexican and so much more!

Indulge in an array of global cuisines from over 45 food traders and food trucks, complemented by live entertainment—all without an entry fee. A feast for the senses awaits!

The Queen Victoria Night Market is a fun way to break up your weekday routine and it’s an easy place to take the family out as there’s something for everyone in terms of eats.

There are also bountiful stalls with everything from jewellery, henna art and pet accessories to clothes, socks, art, candles and everything in between.

Hot Tips for Visiting the Queen Victoria Night Market

• get there as close to 5pm (or even 4:45pm) as you can as it gets busier and the lines longer. Peak hour is 7pm;
• if you go early it’s relatively easy to find street parking close to the market at that time if you’re coming by car;
• $14 parking from 4:30pm-11pm in market car park;
• take a tram up Elizabeth St for the easiest access via PT;
• the main market is not open; and
• bring cash as not all vendors accept cards. There are a few ATMs by Therry Street/toilet blocks but with long queues.
